Holding a site for a family that needs to call you back
Give someone until six without losing the site or forgetting about it.
A caller likes A2 but has to check with their spouse. You do not want to lose the booking, or sit on the site all weekend.
1
Place a hold
Drop a hold on the nights with an expiry time. It reads as a hold on the grid, not a booking, so nobody counts it as revenue.
2
It clears itself
If the caller does not come back by six, the hold drops and the site is bookable again without anyone remembering to clean it up.

Step 1
Drag across a few empty nights on any row to take a booking.
3
Or close it instead
If the site is out for work, close it. Closures block booking and carry the reason, so the front desk stops asking.
What that saves you
- No sticky note on the monitor
- No site sitting idle because someone forgot
- Everyone sees the same reason it is unavailable
