Start the checkout
CampGuide runs the list first: balance, card on file, signed agreement, meter reading, open orders, timing.

It stops on the open charge
The checkout will not complete with $18 sitting unpaid, so you settle it while the guest is standing there.

Then it commits on the server
The folio is re priced and re checked before anything is written, so two staff members cannot charge the same guest twice.
